About Us
The following are quick bio's on Kristelle and I (as you can see I wrote these so lots of info on me.
Gary & Kristelle were married in May of 1994 in Dayton, Indiana by Pastor John Walls at the Dayton United Methodist Church.
Gary: Grew up in the small town of West Point, Indiana. After graduating from McCutcheon High School in 1985 he joined the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout (MOS 19D). After four years in the Army he attended Purdue University and received his B.S. degree in Engineering Technology.
In 1994 he was hired by Motorola in Chicago and rose to the level of Electrical Engineer II before leaving to pursue a career with Nokia in Irving, Texas in 1999. After 1 year with Nokia, the environment wasn't something Gary enjoyed so he was able to return to Motorola in May of 2000 at their Fort Worth facility.
In March of 2001, Motorola started what has become at least an annual occurrence; the forced reduction of staff to balance the budget due to poor and bloated management. In the fall of 2004, Motorola eliminated design engineering jobs at the Fort Worth facility where Gary was working and used this money to staff up design centers in China with cheap labor. This was the straw that broke the camels back and Gary started shopping for employment with companies that would not stick it to the American worker in the name of Corporate greed and profits.
As of August 28, 2007 is now a Design Engineer with TriQuint Semiconductor in Richardson, Texas.
In April 2007 Gary completed a Masters in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Microwave Circuits.
In his free time Gary likes to lift weights, and read historical books. Gary is also a Cub Scout den leader, and a member of the Ancient Free & Accepted Masons Lodge in Lewisville Texas.
Kristelle: Grew up in the small town of Mulberry, Indiana. After graduating from Clinton Prairie High School in 1988 she attended Purdue University and received her B.A. in Apparel Design & Technology in 1992.
Kristelle is currently fully employed home schooling all 6 of the Burgin kids!
